So What Is the P-Spot, Anyway?

The prostate also goes by the moniker of the p-spot or male g-spot. Anatomically, it’s located by the rear rectal wall and its stored fluids are released when a male orgasm is triggered. Proper stimulation and massage can also trigger sensual pleasure in many men and can lead to an anal orgasm. P-spot play is enjoyed by gay and hetero participants alike; it’s not exclusive to any sexual orientation. Plus, male g-spot orgasms are typically described as remarkably intense and very different from penile orgasms. So if you’re feeling adventurous and have a trust and comfort level that allows for it, exploration of the male g-spot can be a sensually fulfilling arena for sexplay.

First and most importantly, make sure that your partner is comfortable with the idea of exploring the possibilities of the p-spot. For many men, it’s not an area that’s emotionally comfortable. It’s certainly not something to spring on your partner as a surprise. Once you’re both comfortable with the idea emotionally, make sure that the male g-spot experience is going to be a physically comfortable one as well. Before engaging in men’s g-spot stimulation, make sure that your fingers are well lubricated and your nails are closely trimmed. You might also want to consider wearing a latex glove; it can be more comfortable for the recipient and there’s less chance of lacerating the male g-spot’s tissue. The p-spot’s tissue is delicate, and you want to ensure that there’s no danger of incision – the ensuing infection can be really nasty. So be manicured, well lubed, and don’t apply any pressure stronger than a firm touch to the male g-spot.

You’ll find the p-spot close to the bottom of the bladder; it’s about the size of a chestnut. As there’s such a large concentration of nerve tissue in the men’s g-spot, it’s extremely sensitive to touch and there won’t be any doubt as to when you’ve found it. Gently move the p-spot back and forth, and you’ll be most likely to trigger the male g-spot orgasm, with its accompanying sensations that are often described as being more intense than penile orgasm. The male g-spot stimulation will also increase the amount of fluid that’s released during a penile orgasm, so that if you engage in concurrent stimulation of both orgasm, the intensity of both will be greatly enhanced. Fair warning – the sphincter muscle at the anus is likely to contract and the pressure can grow significant after a while. Many partners find vibrators or dildos useful for male g-spot stimulation. There are several models that are designed with a curve to reach the men’s g-spot and they tend to be slender enough for a comfortable insertion.

Another approach for partners who don’t care to go in through the rectum to engage in male g-spot stimulation, external stimulation can work as well. The men’s g-spot can be reached by applying pressure about an inch and a half behind the testicles. To get the desired stimulation, some trial-and-error experimentation may be necessary, and it also helps to be stimulating the penis at the same time. Penile stimulation before, during, and following a p-spot orgasm will heighten the sensual experience tremendously. So relax, have fun, and take your time finding the male g-spot stimulation that’s most pleasurable for both of you.

The male g-spot offers a new vista of sensual fun for everyone involved both in terms of sensual intensity and variety of methods involved. Experiment, have fun, and of course, be excellent to each other.
